How names are made

The generator has 4 authored word banks: Weathered knight, Wandering scholar, Lost wanderer, Quiet mystic. Your theme chooses the bank. Your format chooses a single name, a combination, or another format shown in the controls. Generation runs in your browser without an AI request.

The character limit counts spaces and punctuation. Matching names are shuffled and a batch contains no duplicates. If fewer names fit, the tool shows fewer results. Separate batches can repeat. Presets only select existing settings; they do not change the rules.

Saved names are stored in this browser for this domain. Download a text copy if you want to keep them. A file import adds up to 60 names and ignores blank lines, control characters and names longer than 40 characters.
